Cats do go walkabout sometimes – this is one of our residents called Myrtle who enjoys a jaunt out in to the big wide world, she’s a bit of an adventurer but usually just up the fields or for a bit of ‘wild-wooding’. Then she’s back again. It’s more dangerous for cats in town or suburbs. They sometimes get picked up and taken home by strangers. Never pick a cat up unless you know for sure she is lost or abandoned. It’s mostly likely that she will know where she lives and be someone’s else’s pet.
Here’s a recent plea for information for TRICKSY who has been lost since last December:
TRICKSY is 18 months old, black and white moggy. She has no collar, but is neutered and microchipped. She is a small dainty cat and has black top part of the face and a white chin. She has 4 white paws (socks). She has been missing from NG17 3JR area since the 16th of December. Please can you help?
If you’ve seen Tricksy please let us know and we’ll pass the info on.
