What’s a zebra doing in the field?

We took Bubbles in a few months ago and he is making good progress but his skin is still a problem, it’s very sensitive.  The combination of sun and fly bites make him come out in lumps and irritations.  Fly spray didn’t solve it, so covering him up completely was another option.   When we bought him a fly rug we couldn’t resist these zebra stripes.  It comes complete with a hood to cover his face which is good for him because his pink nose and white blaze are prone to sunburn.

When we togged Bubbles out in his new clothes we thought he might object and there’d be torn fly rug all over the place.   But no, he loves his zebra stripes, he’s careful and being covered up is no problem for him.  The other ponies were stunned when they first saw him but when they realized it was still Bubbles underneath, they were quite impressed.
