We took Hope to see the vet yesterday and she was pleased with her progress. It hurt the little kit when her eye was examined, it’s still very sore but it was soon over. We have to keep her on the medication and take her back in two weeks time. At the moment it’s too early to say whether she will keep the eye. The vet thinks it’s either an infection she was born with or a sharp object injury. We’ll know more next time.
Hope is eating well but is a bit small for her age. She has a frail look and doesn’t play very much. The eye is improving, a lot of the redness has gone and she can open it, but this poorly eye will take some sorting.
