If you have been following our Facebook posts, you probably already know that Alan came to us when his owner passed away just before Christmas. He was very sad when he came to us but we are pleased with how well he has settled into Sanctuary Life. He is a wonderful dog. Kind and sensitive and a real gentleman. He was drinking a huge amount of water when he first arrived and we booked him into the vets for a checkup. He was so good and took it all in his stride. The vet placed him on antibiotics and steroids to help with the inflammation but it was clear his teeth needed further treatment.
The treatment over the Christmas period to help with the severe inflammation to his gums has helped and he is drinking normally again but we’ve been told by the vet that he requires a major operation to remove his rotten teeth that have been causing him discomfort for a long time. We have been quoted £600 for this essential surgery and urgently need help to raise funds for this treatment.
Please help Alan get the operation he needs. Without treatment his gums will never get better.
