We didn’t know for sure that Wendy was in kitten, she was skinny when she came in and she’s what we call a ‘run-around’ cat, always on the go. Yesterday she was restless and then went into hiding. This morning she’d made a nest and produced four kittens – easy peasy – just how it should be.
The largest, a boy, wasn’t born alive. Sometimes it’s because a big kitten is too long in the birth canal, but the others are fine. There’s two ginger and white and a calico, all are suckling and Wendy is giving them all her love. A good mummy.
