Thank you from the rescued cats

cats - dj 5

We’ve had so many cats brought in recently that it’s been difficult to cope with feeding them all but thanks to our wonderful Pet Samaritan supporters the pouches have kept coming in and no one has gone hungry.   Thank you also for all the other goodies that appear in Reception, if we’re not around to thank you please know that we appreciate your efforts, kindness and generosity.  We turn everything into funds for vet fees and care for the animals and anything we don’t need to use for the cats and dogs we receycle, so nothing is wasted.

This is Davidjason who is just about to enjoy a pouch.   He is a lovely cat who has been with us for several months now.   At the same time he is an eccentric fellow with very definite likes and dislikes.   With us he is friendly and companionable, maybe a little bit reserved until he gets to know you well.   He’s a good listener and no trouble at all and we have put him up for adoption …… but……. do cats get Asperger’s?    Davidjason freaks out when he has to get to know someone new.  He won’t talk to anyone he doesn’t know and it’s away to a hidey-hole if I try to introduce him.   He is like two different cats!   One friendly and affectionate, the other cowering away and refusing to come out!

Davidjason is so well behaved and very handsome, we felt sure he would make a forever friend for someone.   Perhaps not though, he does get stressed with strangers so it looks as though he’ll be joining our Golden Oldie Club and staying with us.   And we don’t mind that at all!

If you’d like to sponsor Davidjason please get in touch – a small donation and we’ll send you his photo and all about him.   Cheques payable to Pet Samaritans please or you can donate online or paypal.  Many thanks.
