Thank you for your support

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to the yard sale and supported us and all our rescued animals.   An especial thank you to Denise who began helping first thing in the morning and went on till we packed away – we couldn’t have managed without you!   The life of the sanctuary goes on whether we have events or not and as always we had all the residents to care for and we had a stray dog come in just as we were closing.   A staffi – how did you guess!    It was lovely to see old friends and especially the ‘four legged’ kind – one dog had been re-homed eight years ago – he looked wonderful and fit and well.    One of our visitors told me how she’d called round to see us two years ago, when Pete was alive, and how he’d asked her to ‘just hold this puppy for a minute will you.’   It worked!   The puppy is a fine, healthy two year old who has the very best of people to look after her.   Pete always was brilliant at re-homing!
