Talking to the animals

We thought talking to the animals was something Dr Dolittle did in films but three beautiful parrots have had us in stitches with their witty banter. Say hello to Georgie, Paulie and Mikey. Unfortunately their owner could no longer look after them due to a terminal illness and asked the Pet Samaritans to help with our lifetime pet care service. After 20 years with their family, we are really thankful they have settled well with us and have taken the change in surroundings all in their stride.
They are such wonderful characters and have been entertaining us with their lively conversation. They have a large vocabulary and are super intelligent. Two of them like toast with butter and one toast without. If you get it wrong they let you know. We’ll hopefully get some videos up soon but if you are in the area, pop in and say hello to them.
