Stray dog at our book sale

A big thank you to everyone who fought their way through the hail, sleet and rain to come to the book sale yesterday.    We still have loads of books left so if anyone wants to pop round when we’re open this week (Thursday and Friday from 12 to 4.0pm) and also at the weekend (Sunday 11 – 4.0pm) there will still be plenty to browse through.   An unexpected arrival just after midday was a stray dog – a young black labrador who was wet and bedraggled but very fussy and obviously glad to be found.  If anyone has lost a labrador please get in touch.

(The picture above shows a similar dog to the one brought in yesterday but not the actual dog – there is an identification process to go through before a stray can be claimed so we do not release photos until the dog has been reunited or handed over to us.)
