We’ve had several cats brought in over the past week, all have been emergencies. This young little one above wasn’t handed over but she was in a desperate situation even so. While we were feeding the little owls, someone came in the yard and dumped her in a basket by the gate. She must have been fastened up for some time because she was covered in mess and, as always, was shocked and starving hungry when we released her. Giving her a feed and then cleaning her up came first and then we assessed her. She’s in a poor condition, very thin, coat problems, dirty ears, worms (?) almost certainly, vaccination unlikely and ….. a fat tummy. It’s probable that she’s a stray and a street cat so she could be pregnant.
We’re taking her to the vet, she’s a sweet natured, grateful and fussy/friendly cat – a room, comfy bed and food – this is great! We’ve called her Tiggy and we’re looking for sponsors for her till we get her sorted out. Can you help? A donation (even small is appreciated) and we’ll send you Tiggy’s picture and all about her. We’ll keep you up to date with her progress and you can come and see her – weekends between 11.0 and 3.0pm are best.
Please email with your name and address and send to: ‘I’D LIKE TO SPONSOR TIGGY’ – contact via the website. Cheques/p.o.’s payable to Pet Samaritans please. You can also donate by paypal and on the website. Suggested sponsorship amount – £15.00 – if for a gift please let us have the name and address of the recipient. We can send straight out to them if you prefer.
Sponsorship will help to give this unwanted cat a fresh start in life and, when she’s fully recovered and been sorted out, a new home.
