Say hello to our baby rabbits

bunnies - be-bop 7

The snow was a foot deep, there were long icicles on all the fences and the ground was frozen and slippery.   But a pet emergency is just that and in the middle of the storm a car somehow made it up the drive and brought three rabbits in to us.   A dog had been attacking them and they needed a safe home.   We had a pen ready within minutes and got ready to say ‘hello’ to Fudge, Be-bop and Betty.   Be-bop and Betty are eight weeks old and nice and tame.   (Be-bop is white with patches of tan – and is shown above).

Betty is pale ginger and very pretty also.   Mum is fawn with splodges, we haven’t managed to get a picture of her as yet although she is also very tame.

If you can give any of these lovely bunnies a home please get in touch.   We are always concerned about the welfare aspects of keeping rabbits.   Whilst they are inside at this time of year and especially as it’s so cold, they do need plenty of space to hop around and a safe and secure roomy hutch to live in.   Rabbits need lots of companionship and are lovely to care for.   We’ll be happy to give advice and if you’d like to meet the rabbits please get in touch.
