Save Them All Campaign at the Pet Samaritans

If we could have one wish granted, it would be to have the resources to save all the animals that need our help. Unfortunately, with no state funding, we rely entirely on the generosity of Pet Samaritans just like you to help us in our mission to make a real difference to animal welfare. Just a few pounds a month could make all the difference to them. There are a lot of animals in this little corner of the world who have already been saved because of you. We want to SAVE THEM ALL and with your help, we can do it.

Many of our rescued animals are unsuitable for rehoming after all they have been through. They stay with us for life, we never put any healthy animal to sleep. By sponsoring one of them through a monthly donation, you will be helping us to care for them and give them the comfort, safety and protection they deserve. Just a few pounds a month can make all the difference to them. Most were cruelly treated before they came to us and had a miserable life. We have large vet bills and ongoing food costs but lots of happy endings. We’ve been established over twenty years and rescue dogs, cats, horses, goats, farm animals, pigs, hedgehogs and other wildlife. Injured wild birds are brought in nearly every day. When we’ve patched them up and they are fit again, we release them back into the wild.

Our ‘Golden Oldie’ club has a lot of members. One of our priorities is to help when there is an illness or bereavement. Sally is one of many examples we see at the Sanctuary. A little westie dog who we thought was a little chinese crested when we first saw her. Sally was neglected when her owner developed dementia and could no longer look after her properly.

She was in a terrible state but with careful nursing at the Pet Samaritans, she made a good recovery.

Most of our cats and dogs are offered for adoption when they have recovered and been assessed. If you are looking for a new pet, please get in touch. We carefully match people to pets and have a lot of happy endings.

We never know what will come in next. Ten hamsters, a gerbil and a rabbit, cats left for dead, even puppies on the doorstep. We do our best not to turn any away. Our Hedgehog Hospital sees high demand all year round and provides help when needed to these magical creatues.

Education is a big part of our life, we work with the community and lots of young people come to help and learn about animal care.

Please take a moment to make a real difference to animal welfare and join the Pet Samaritans campaign to SAVE THEM ALL.
