Little Snowdrop
The world may never notice
If a Snowdrop doesn’t bloom,
Or even pause to wonder
If the petals fall too soon.
But every life that ever forms,
Or ever comes to be,
Touches the world in some small way
For all eternity.
Our little Nolene passed away recently in her sleep at a grand old age. She’s been with us for many years and was much loved by all. While she was hopeless with cats and didn’t care much for strangers, once she got to know you, she was loving and kind. You might remember she lost the use of her legs due to a tumor on her spine but after life saving surgery and months of recovery, she regained use of her legs. She’s shared her life with Jack Spratt, a 3 legged Jack russell who was found abandoned and who has also lived at the Sanctuary for many years. Jack is doing well and has adopted Kate and family but will be a regular visitor to the Sanctuary.
