Puppy love

Jussi was brought in as a stray – to be lost and abandoned is such an ordeal for a puppy – you can see how worried he is.  But lots of cuddles and t.l.c. have reassured this super baby dog and he’s recovered quite quickly.   Jussy is very loving and friendly, he’s a fantastic stripey brindle fella and has such soulful eyes!

How old is he?   Around twelve weeks and loves to be picked up and cuddled.   What breed?   That’s more difficult at this stage.   Does it matter?   He may be a pure bred something but we are not bothered about that, he is a great puppy dog with a wonderful temperament.

Jussi makes friends with Grondhal – he likes cats.   If dogs are socialized with cats from an early age they will be friends with them and not chase them.   So many of the adult dogs we get in are ‘cat killers’ – they’ve been taught to chase them.  It makes them even more difficult to re-home.
