Dorcas is one of our beautiful sanctuary cats and she has three kittens who she is caring for with love and devotion. We’ve had several more cats with kittens brought in and one young lady has turned up on her own and had five kittens among the straw bales. They are really tiny tots but little beauties. Can you help these hungry cats by buying them a bag of cat food from our online shop? You can pay by paypal and it would be such a fantastic help. We feed the cats with biscuits ad lib and put out saucers of meat or fish twice a day. It’s a never ending story and we have to keep going to ensure their survival. Mums get an extra feed if they are hungry at lunchtime. Kittens are fed more frequently – they need lots of small meals as their growth rate is so rapid. Most of our recent kittens are still nursing but the ones that are weaned are eating for England. They gobbled up a big dish of white fish poached in goats milk yesterday lunchtime and said – more please! We don’t give cow’s milk to any of our cats as it would upset their tummies. Goat’s milk or cat or kitten milk is fine though. Some of the cats are literally starving when they come in and help to feed them would be much appreciated.
