Pet Samaritans nominated for the Petplan Animal Charity Team Of The Year

Petplan and the Association of Dogs and Cats Homes (ADCH) have teamed up again to celebrate the dedicated work rescue centers, staff and volunteers put in throughout the year. Petplan is a well known pet insurance provider with a 40 year history and the ADCH works hard to promote best practice in animal welfare for dogs and cats. To be nominated for an award like this has lifted our spirits at the Pet Samaritans especially after such a difficult year we have all had with covid.

With so much uncertainty over the last few months, we have been very worried for the future of the sanctuary. Our fund raising events have all been cancelled and adoptions have been put on hold again during lockdown. The nomination has really boosted morale for us here at the animal sanctuary and wildlife rescue center. The certificate couldn’t have arrived at a better time. The smiles from the team were huge.

Of course you never really expect to win a prestigious award like this with so many other amazing animal rescues in the UK. Still the nomination alone is wonderful. Our team work so hard 365 days of the year helping animals and wildlife. We really appreciate the recognition for our work.
