Pepe pigeon comes home

We release all the birds when they are recovered and this pigeon took a long while to get his health back.  Pigeons are said to be the most intelligent of all birds and Pepe has remembered us and come back to say hello.  He likes us to feed him and he stays around to have a chat- it’s lovely to see him looking so well and above all he is free.

The tawny owls have taken possession of an owl box we’ve put up for them, they come for chicks we put out although we know they are hunting for themselves now.   Our kestrels are free also and the last one to be released has found a friend.  They dance in the sky (mating behaviour) and put on a fine display.
