Pebbles wears her new dress

Even though it’s summer and the weather is warm, it’s still a bit chilly for an old lady cat who has just had all her hair shaved off.   This pretty little frock was knitted for us by a volunteer (thanks Jeanette) and fits Pebbles perfectly.   She loves wearing it and must feel comforted and much warmer now.

And doesn’t she look lovely in it!  If you have your cat shaved because of knots it’s always good to give them a substitute coat until theirs grows again.   It doesn’t have to be so fancy as this one though – the sleeve of an old cardigan with holes cut in for the front legs, does just as well.
