Christmas is always a busy time of year for us. We have extra mouths to feed and all our permanent residents to look after. We need a ‘et Food Mountain’ – if you can bring cans and pouches in, also complete, that would be literally a lifesaver. We have a lot of ‘golden oldie’ permanent residents (like Miss Nolene, shown above) so senior food is especially good.
Donations for vet bills are urgently needed, our vets are wonderful but we have to pay them or we can’t keep going. Cat spayes, neuteres, problems – Cindy’s tail has made a big hole in our resourves. Thankfully she is on the mend now though.
Heating costs are another big expense in winter – roll on summer. We have to keep the animsls warm though, especially those who are poorly.
