New cats for adoption

Re-homed – thanks folks.   POPPY – Blue male cat, who is very friendly.   Yes, it’s a girl’s name so perhaps there was some mix up when he was a kitten – anyway Poppy is a lovely handsome fella and very loving and well behaved.   He’s neutered and vaccinated and is fully litter trained.  He’s not a youngster but has lots of life and years ahead yet.   Why was he brought in?   Well, he is better suited to be an ‘only child’ and had issues with other cats in the family who were bullying him.   Poppy is sweet natured and a bit of a wimp!   He loves to be cuddled.  If you can give this lovely blue cat a new home please get in touch.

MERLIN – A GREY AND WHITE TABBY – he’s a deep thinker who likes to look at life in the slow lane.   He’s only a youngster, around a year old we think, and again he likes to be on his own away from other cats so he can have all your attention.  Merlin likes people and intle by nature, he is a bit shy until he gets to know you though.

He’s not a bully but seems a bit apprehensive about having other cats for company.  It may be that he would get to know another cat if he or she was especially friendly and not threatening.  Merlin is very clean and is vaccinated, we were told he was neutered but we haven’t checked this out yet, he doesn ‘t seem like a ‘tom’ cat though.   If you’d like to come and meet him please get in touch.

TOBY – is another handsome male cat, again a ‘golden oldie’ – he came in recently and has settled down straight away – he was too fussy to let me take his photo earlier so I’ll try again tomorrow.   He is a very loving cat whose owner has gone into hospital and can’t look after him any longer.   Toby is fit and well and is a very clean cat.  He’s a bit overweight and has a very good appetite.  Weight watchers for Toby then!

Pic coming soon.

DONATIONS TO HELP CARE FOR THE CATS WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED.   Standing order form – let us have your  name and address and we’lll send one out.   Cheques payable to Pet Samaritans please.   Latest newsletter on request.   We’d be very grateful for donations of cat food – please drop off in Reception.

Many thanks.
