More wildlife brought in, more pets abandoned

A black cat dumped at the gate in a cat box, a pigeon brought in with a bad eye injury, a poorly hedgehog, a fledgling crow, a cat with four kittens, five orphan ducklings, a young dog …….. these are just some of this week’s arrivals.  Thank you to everyone who have not walked on by but have taken the trouble to bring the unwanted pets and wildlife in to us.   We do our best as always but we desperately need cat food, towels, blankets, donations and sponsors for these waifs and strays.

If you can help with a regular monthly donation please download our standing order form, fill it in and send it to  your bank.  Even £2.00 would be a great help- it’s  small change but if enough people donated in this way it would make such a big difference to our rescue work.

You might think that around Christmas is the busiest time of year in animal rescue world but we’ve found before that midsummer is when we get most calls and are really put under pressure.   Holidays anyone?
