Millie is definitely feeling brighter and is taking an interest in what’s going on. She’s still very hungry and goes into a deep sleep when she’s satisfied and her tummy is full. Millie is very fussy and wants to be cuddled and loved all the time, she is unsure of herself and lacks confidence at the moment. Life has not been good to this little girl so far and we are doing our best to make it up to her.
There’s no sign of internal bleeding from the kicking she received so that is encouraging. We had a pup in once before who, like little Millie, had received a beating, she was fine for a few days and then suddenly haemorraged. She spent a week on a drip at the vets but we saved her in the end. This is what we have been worried about and are watching Millie closely to make sure she is alright.
Even though she’s much better she doesn’t look one hundred per cent just yet.
Millie has beautiful brindle markings and is a stunning looking puppy. We do want to see her smile though.
