Kittens go to be vaccinated

Two of our older kittens have had their first vaccination

Morris, who came in as a rescued kitten, and Bo-bo who was also brought in recently are both over 9 weeks old and so could go to be vaccinated straight away.  Our other kittens are not quite old enough.

We think Bobo is around six months old, she is a lovely, sweet natured young lady and was on her best behaviour at the vets when she went for her first vaccination.  Although Bobo and Morris are good friends we gave them a basket each for the journey, it was a very hot day and although both are still quite small we didn’t want them to overheat.   Thanks to Angie for taking the kittens in for us and to Spire Vets for looking after them so well and getting their vaccinations done.

We’ll be taking them back in approx. 3 weeks for their second vaccination and then they will be fully up to date and will be covered until it’s time for a booster in a year’s time.

Morris recovered from his vet trip quite quickly and was soon playing and demanding food when he was home.   He has kitten pouches and kitten biscuits and loves a piece of raw meat to chew on too.   Bobo went for a lie down when she arrived back, but she soon recovered and was playing in her pink tunnel which is her favourite toy.   Bobo likes kitten biscuits best of all and is not at all greedy.    Both of the kittens are fully litter trained, very friendly and sociable and are ready for adoption now they’ve had their health check and 1st vaccination.

If you’d like to come and meet them please get in touch.
