Rosebud was born last year, the smallest kitten in a litter of six. She was always tiny and dainty and had to go for her vaccination a bit later than the rest – it all depends on body weight. She did have her vaccinations eventually but then the bad news. Rosebud had a serious heart murmur. There was no treatment possible, the hope was that she would ‘grow’ out of it.
There has never been any sign that anything was wrong with Rosie. She climbs, jumps, playfights and leaps about just like the others. She has a lovely personality and is a real tomboy. We’ve continued to be anxious about her health though and last week we took her for a check up. Good news, no sign of her heart murmur so far. We’ll continue to monitor her though, just in case.
This last pic was when she was younger – you can see how frail she was then. Doing well now though. Rosebud isn’t available for adoption – we’ll have to wait until she’s had a clean bill of health and over a year old most likely.
