Kez Kestrel arrives at the Sanctuary

Kez a young Kestrel came from the Hope Valley area in need of our help. Hope Valley Veterinary Clinic (Park Veterinary Hospital) checked him over before he made his way to us – thanks to the Wildlife Angels who brought him in.

Kez doesn’t seem to be suffering from any serious injuries but has some bruising to one wing and was extremely hungry! He is feeling much better already this morning after a few good meals and some rest. Kestrels need regular feeding as maintaining their weight is crucial. We are hopeful he will make a full recovery and be released back into the wild soon.
