Help wanted for wildlife

We have birds brought in nearly every day and finding accommodation for them is difficult.  These fragile injured creatures need a lot of care especially at first when they are in shock.  Being handled by humans is terrifying for them.   The little dove shown above came in yesterday, she has an injured wing and can’t fly.   We don’t think there is any serious problem and a period of rest will help her.   We’ll keep her in a small cage to start with and increase her space as she recovers.  When she can fly again and has had plenty of food and regained her strength, we’ll let her go.
