Happy Tails For a Cat Called Jelly

Jelly All Grown Up and Doing Well With Her New Owner

It’s always great to find a heart warming story in our inbox. Thanks so much to Pet Samaritan, Nicky for sharing her story with us. We love to hear about rescued and re-homed pets from the Sanctuary. It inspires us to keep doing our work for the animals and without your help and generosity we couldn’t continue.

Basically, I just wanted to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for rescuing my girl. She was brought into your sanctuary about a year and a half ago, at about 9 weeks old, after being found abandoned alone in the middle of busy traffic. You guys cared for her, and she was adopted by my family as a birthday surprise for me.

Her name is Jelly, and she’s my whole world. She’s almost two now, and couldn’t be more loved, or more spoilt! She’s very lively and sometimes has a bit of a wild streak, but she’s also so sweet and loving and has bonded very closely with all of us. I often wonder whether she remembers what happened to her, because to this day the one thing she hates most is being alone.

It breaks my heart to know that if it wasn’t for you, she wouldn’t have had a chance – but I’m so thankful that you took her in, because I couldn’t imagine my life without her.

You guys do such wonderful work, and give so many pets a second chance at happiness!

Here’s a couple of pictures kindly sent in by Nicky of Jelly at the sanctuary and in her new home.
