Happy ending for Callie

dogs - callie new home 2

When dogs come in they often look very sad and have injuries and other problems.  This was Callie, a lovely dog but badly hurt and we felt very sorry for her.    What a difference a good home makes though.  The following is an update from the lovely people who have adopted her – thank you so much:

Hello my name is Callie, i am writing to you with an update on my life.     On the 4th May I was visited by my new Mum and Dad, they took me a long walk, which I loved, and guess what, they came back later to Pet Samaritans with my new brother George and took me to my new home.
I had been attacked by another dog, this is all behind me now and I am very happy with my new family.   Every time one of my family comes home I go barking mad!!! And race round the house & garden making noises like a seal ( this is from the owners) If we knew what Callie was crossed with we would guess a seal!!! as the noises are so funny owr  owr owr!
I enjoy three long walks a day in the countryside near my house, and I am now allowed off the lead to explore, and to find pond water to drink Yum !!!!!
I have made lots of new friends like Coco & Daisy, Maddie & Dillan and my newest friend a puppy called Emily.   I regularly visit my Nana and Grandad who look after me when my mum is at work, and am also staying with my Grandma and Grandad and their dog Hugo when my Mum Dad and George go on holiday, Hugo keeps kissing me YAKKKK!!!
I love my family very much, and I know they love me too.   I am a very happy Callie now, thank you for rescuing me and making me better.
Please find attached a picture of me smiling with my brother George, this was taken last week.
Please tell all of my friends at pet samaritans i’m very happy, plus how do I know all of these words? i’ll never know!!!!!!!!
Lots of love Callie, Jo, Darren and George xxxxx
