Rosie was quite timid when she first came in to us. It took a while for her to gain confidence with people she didn’t know. But when cat lovers Rebecca and Andrew came to look for a cat to adopt, it was love at first sight. Our shy Rosie ran straight up to them and asked to be picked up!Here’s what Rebecca told us about adopting this sweet silver tabby:
Just thought I’d give you an update on how Rosie is getting on.
She traveled home with no problems and was looking out of the carrier at where she was going. Ran straight under the settee when we got in and stayed there for about an hour until we managed to coax her out with chicken treats and then she stayed on the settee all night watching tv and having a love!
She hid again yesterday but we went out and left her to have an explore and now she’s absolutely fine, runs to hide when she’s spooked but comes straight back out. She hasn’t stopped eating now but refused wet food so got her some whiskers biscuits which she loves. We’ve had a venture into the kitchen and she’s fascinated by the French doors too so will have to watch her with that until she’s ready to go outside in the garden.
I’m absolutely besotted with her, as is Andrew. We’ve renamed her Mila which she’s started answering to, as well as baby girl!
Thank you so much for sending this update and giving Rosie-Mia such a lovely home – a fantastic happy ending.
