Goodbye to 2015

dogs - sandy 14

This little dog, called Sandy, was the last to be brought in this year.  He was an unwanted pet and we took him in just before Christmas.   He’s an adorable fella, very tiny and sweet natured.  He’ll be on our Adoption pages when we open again on January 2nd 2016.

It’s been a hectic year with it’s share of crisis and dramas but also with a lot of happy endings – for that we are grateful.  There’ll be a round up of the highs and lows in our next Newsletter which is out in January.  To be sure of your FREE copy please join us, which keeps you up to date with what’s going on and also helps us to go on with our rescue work.  It’s £15 per year post free – send us your name and address and you can donate by paypal online – or send a cheque/p.o. to us at the sanctuary – Pet Samaritans, Broomhill Road, Old Whittington, Chesterfield, S41 9EA.  We’ll send a copy out to you straight away.

We have some lovely dogs waiting for new homes and friendly cats in all shapes, sizes and colours.  There are still some beautiful kittens who’ll be available as soon as they’ve had their health check and first vaccination.   Kitten tea party in the New Year?  We’ll let you know when.
