Golden-oldies need caring homes

It took a while but eventually some wonderful people came along and Molly loved them right away – she has gone to her new home and has settled well – being thoroughly spoilt which will suit her just fine.  Thanks folks.   Molly is a middle aged lady cat who came in to us recently and who is looking for a loving home.   She is a survivor and has her own ‘support group’ of kind people who have helped her over the years when she was homeless.   That so many people are fond of her and keep in touch and come to see her, is a testament to her lovely nature and affectionate character.  Molly likes to be with you and have a lot of fuss, she is as good as gold to care for and is a very clean cat.   She is small and neat and dainty and has an especially endearing characteristic – she likes to sit on your shoulder!   Molly is very gentle though and is quite a feather-weight so it is no problem.   If you’d like to come and meet Molly please get in touch.   We would be especially delighted to find this sweet feline lady a new home – could anything be nicer than a fussy and friendly lucky black cat??

Toby is another mature cat who has a more reflective nature than Molly.   He is just as affectionate though and is very well behaved.  It’s good that he doesn’t try to ‘shoulder-sit’ – he is a bit too heavy for that!   Toby was a bit overweight when he came in and had been the much loved pet of an elderly lady who unfortunately had to go in to hospital and so could no longer care for him.   He is a lovely chap, neutered and vaccinated and very clean in his habits.   Toby is a handsome cat, still on a weight-watchers diet though.  He’s a big lad and very round and comfy – his eyes are lovely – large and limpid and slightly different colours.   Toby is very affectionate and would love to have a new home .

Neither of the above sanctuary residents have been used to living with other cats and so a home where they could each be ‘the one and only’ would be best for them.   If you’d like to come and see them please get in touch.
