Get ready for our Easter Fair

Easter Fair Sunday 1st April Coal Aston Village Hall – It will soon be Spring, it’s official on March 20th which is the equinox, when the earth tilts slighty towards the Sun and the days begin to get noticeably longer and the weather warmer.   It’s also when we see baby rabbits, chicks, foals, goat kids and of course, kittens.   We had so many last year we were almost overwhelmed.

The new kitten pen is great but already we need another one.  Pregnant lady cats need privacy to nurse their babies.   So fund raising is on our minds and we’ve organised a great Easter Fair (thanks Julie for all your hard work).   It will be on 1st April and at Coal Aston Village Hall.    It’s going to be a real fun day out with lots of stalls, competitions and brilliant prizes – hook-a-duck, lucky dip, tombola, penalty shoot out and many more.

You can also win a giant cupcake if you guess the weight – win it and eat it!   There’s face painting and egg decorating.   Bring your Easter Bonnet and we’ll give a prize for the best.

There will be lots of table top sales, books, vintage, jewellery, more posh than dosh clothes, bric-a-brac, collectibles, C.D.’s, toys, greeting cards, aromatherapy, crystals etc.etc.

And not forgetting a fantastic RAFFLE with mega good prizes – a £50 Argos voucher, a month’s free gym membership, a pamper package, framed Helen Clark print, case of wine, car service (terms and conditions apply) and many more.   Watch out for ticket sales or get them from the sanctuary.

We’ll have lots of refreshments on offer – a cup cake stall, homemade scones and cakes to eat in or take home with you.

It’s all to raise funds for the sanctuary and most of all it will be lots of fun!
