Farewell To Frankie

RIP

We were sad to hear Frankie adopted from the Sanctuary in 2007, passed away recently. She had a wonderful happy life with a family who adored her.

Heres what her owners sent us:

As promised photos of the brindle Lurcher ( you called her Zelda but we changed her name to Frankie and she was fine with that!)  that we had from you on the 15th August 2007.  She was a stray and estimated to be 6 ish at the time.  I am afraid that we had to have her put to sleep last week – so she would have been 15 or 16 (ish).  She was a typical Lurcher who slept quite a lot but at the first mention of ‘walk’ she was there and quite happy to walk all day long. She was a clean well mannered dog who never damaged anything – apart from a few local squirrels in Westwood of course. If we could find another dog half as good we would be delighted.
