We’re very sad to inform you that Timmy – our long time ‘meeter and greeter’ at the sanctuary – passed away in his sleep last night. He had shown no signs of ill health and was his usual self, begging for the left over kitten milk, making the rounds for plenty of fuss and enjoying a spot of sun bathing.
If you’ve visited the us over the last 17 years, you will more than likely have seen Timmy sticking his tongue out at you. Timmy was brought to the sanctuary after his owners could no longer care for him. We tried several times to find him a new family but he wouldn’t settle, so Timmy ended up a permanent resident here at the Pet Samaritans. Timmy was in his early twenties and such a character. He was the most wonderful gentle cat and will be greatly missed by all.
