She’s still a bit wobbly but Dulcie is gradually finding her feet and feeling a bit better. She’d still prefer to lie down than stand up but she is having a little walk, enjoying a fuss and eating and drinking. Dulcie was very dehydrated when she came in and although she is fine now, it is taking a while for her to recover. The trauma of being shut up in a dark box in the boot of a car on a hot day will take a while to forget. Cats are in shock after an ordeal and only quiet and calm and lots of reassurance help them. Dulcie is still afraid and it will take time for her to get over it.
