We’ve helped a lot of ducklings this year. In fact every year we seem to get more and more arriving at the Sanctuary during the summer months as demand for our services increases. Sometimes they come in groups and sometimes alone. Sunshine arrived from Langold lake in Rotherham, quite a distance from us but we have been told we are the nearest local wildlife rescue still open.
There appeared to be no other ducks around and a member of the public rescued her and brought her in. We have called her Sunshine. She’ll stay with us until fully grown and be released back into the wild. Without care she would not have made it. Please support Sunshine and other ducklings brought into the Sanctuary.
