Demelza’s beautiful kittens

Demelza’s kittens are doing well and aren’t they beauties!   Two ginger and white and a well marked tabby.  We haven’t look what sex they are as yet, we’re disturbing them as little as possible.   Demelza is nursing them well but she is still unsettled and mistrustful of everyone, she is a scared little cat.

We can stroke her gently now and she is eating well, the main thing is she’s feeding her babies and looking after them.  They don’t have their eyes open yet, it’s usually between 7 and 14 days so should be any time now.  All kittens have blue eyes to begin with, they get their real colour at about a month old.

Demelza is a very pretty tabby/calico cat, we don’t know anything about her but she looks like a kitten herself. She has a lovely face and golden eyes.   She’s putting weight on herself and has done very well to rear such plump and well developed little kits – natural instincts working well.
