Cindy has her op tomorrow

Worry, worry, worry.  You can see this written all over Cindy’s face.   She had her tail re-bandaged at the vet’s yesterday, it was stressful for her and she is not too good this morning.   The bandage is still on though which is the main thing.  Wearing the collar is stressful too.  We take it off to walk her and for meal times but we know that if she was free of it for more than a few minutes she would be back ripping the bandage off.  Tomorrow can’t come soon enough, only when she’s had the op will she start to feel better.

Just hoping all goes well, she’ll be sedated when she gets to the vet and that will take the edge off her anxiety.  Some dogs are more stoical than others but Cindy, with the tender whippet temperament, isn’t one of them.  It’s going to be a long haul to get her over this and to forget all about it.  Getting her socialized and making sure she has a happy life hwill be our first priority when she’s well enough.
