We’re having a Christmas Fair on Saturday 8th December, at the sanctuary and starting at 11.0am – going on till 3-ish.
We’ll have lots of bric-a-brac to rummage through and bargain price pet items – also books, jewellery etc. It’ll be indoors and nice and warm if it’s cold or wet.
You’ll be able to meet some of our permanent residents – Jack Spratt and Miss Nolene will be there to say hello and many of the cats – will you go in to them and give them a cuddle? They’ll love that. If you can bring a pouch or two – even better. They’ll love you forever if you feed them. Some of the goats will be around, trying to escape as usual or eat the Christmas Tree. Our senior citizen pony Japonica (35 years young!) will be coming in for her usual lunch time feed and likes to have a fuss and there’s bound to be some hedgehogs getting in on the act somewhere.
We have delicious cakes and mince pies (to eat here and for you to buy and take home) and a tombola with some fabulous prizes including a lovely squirrel feature bird bath made in stone and kindly donated by Adele. We hope it’s all going to raise lots of funds to keep us going through the winter.
Hope to see you – date for your diary is Saturday 8th December, 11.0am start. Plenty of parking – either on bottom car park or drive straight up.
