Cats in crisis

This is Peanuts who was taken in to the vets to be put to sleep as she could not be housed any longer.  Her owner had been forced to move and could not take the cat.  Thankfully Carrick vets alerted us and we took her in – thanks to them for saving this lovely girl.

We’ve had lots more cats brought in recently, some dumped at the gate.  The calls we get every day about stray cats are heartrending, please feed the strays until they can be brought in.

Donations to help us care for the cats are welcome, thank you to the kind folk who have brought pouches and biscuits in already.  We need funding for vaccinations, health checks, neutering and spaying.  We also need to upgrade some of our pens so that we can use them and rescue more of the cats who are being left to starve.
