He’s a fine looking cat but this male tabby has problems. He was brought in to us after being found as a stray. He’s thin and on the defensive, he needs neutering and vaccinating. He comes out to eat but doesn’t want anyone to touch him – it’s swipe with his paw if you try! His tail is missing and it looks like an injury that might be recent. We’d like to have a closer examination but there’s no chance at the moment. Cats are definitely more difficult than dogs if they don’t want you to do anything.
We’ve called him Bobtail (for obvious reasons) he needs to put on weight but he’s eating well so that will come in time. Getting him to trust us may take longer.
