We found this little cat in a box on the car park yesterday. It was sellotaped up but had air holes in it so we knew it wasn’t jumble. She is a tortieshell and very pretty – not microchipped but friendly although a bit shy and understandably nervous. Although she is so young and small (hardly more than a kitten herself) she looks to be pregnant with a suspiciously bulging tummy. Is this why she was dumped? She was starving hungry and tucked into a pouch and a saucer of goat’s milk yoghurt right away. Yoghurt is very good for cats and is a pick-me-up when they are a bit frail or recovering from an illness. (But don’t give cow’s milk or yoghurt to cats or dogs as they can’t digest it so well and sometimes get tummy upsets).
We’ve called her Cassie – a young cat who was wasn’t wanted – until she came here!
That was good! [donate]
