Calling All Gardeners Appeal for Plants

As you probably know we have been doing quite a lot of work around the Sanctuary and some of it has taken its toll on the gardens. Some of the areas are looking very bare. If anybody has any spare plants for the Sanctuary, we would be very grateful for border plants, shrubs, flowers etc for the gardens. There is no need to make an appointment, please pop down anytime and ask for Jo or Kate. We are open 10am – 3.30pm.

Polly and the goats do their fare share of weeding for us, but if you have some spare time and like gardening with animals, please get in touch. There is no fincancial reward, but we can promise lots of cups of tea and plenty of long chats and poetry readings with Polly the Pig. The goats might lend a hand too but you have to watch them. They prefer flowers to weeds!
