Baby birds battle for survival

They are so young it’s hard to tell just what these babies are.  You can just see the outline of their wings and a big beak (so looks like a pigeon or dove) but no feathers as yet.

They’d fallen out of the nest and been abandoned by their parents.  Luckily for them they were spotted by a kind person who gave them emergency care and food and then brought them in to us.

It will almost be a miracle if they survive but then we’ve had lots of miracles before and they are eating well so we’re hoping for the best.
