Pet Samaritans Animal Sanctuary

We are here for the animals. Our animal sanctuary in Derbyshire cares for mistreated, neglected and abandoned animals who have nowhere else to go.

Paypal Kitchen Appeal for the animal sanctuary

Our Kitchen project is underway

The donated Kitchen has arrived from the wonderful Ed & Harp Kitchen Design for our new Café so it’s all hands on deck. We need more helpers for painting walls, Cleaning, Joinery, Plumbing. If you’re a bit ‘handy’ and would like to be part of this really exciting project we’d love to hear from you.

We also need more FUNDS to buy things like paint, tables, chairs, cafe equipment, cleaning supplies and building materials. If you would like to donate towards the project we would be extremely grateful of your support. We are so close to making this work. Please give if you can.

The children once again chose Pet Samaritans to benefit from our end of year fundraiser. Having looked at the photographs of all the animals you have helped, they all voted for the money to be sent so you can continue your great work in helping animals big and small. Thank you!

Who we are

The Pet Samaritans Animal Sanctuary is located in Chesterfield. Over the years we have cared for thousands of animals from dogs, cats, horses, farm animals and so much more. We are one of Derbyshires busiest animal sanctuaries with animals and wildlife admitted everyday.

Our Mission

Pet Samaritans animal sanctuary was formed to help animals with nowhere else to go. We help animals that are abandoned, injured, mistreated, orphaned or neglected and give them a safe place they can call home.

The animal sanctuary provides food, shelter and veterinary treatments for pets brought into the centre before finding them a new forever home. Our Lifetime care ensures pets and animals that can’t be re-homed stay with us for the rest of their lives.

Our wildlife hospital operates 365 days a year and aims to help rehabilitate wildlife before releasing back into the wild.

You can become a Wildlife Angel and join our community dedicated to supporting wildlife.
