Clothes wanted – don’t forget that we can turn your cast offs into food the animals.   Shoes, handbags and belts are welcome too.   We pick out the best of the clothes to go on sale ‘In the Dog House’ (check out our ‘more posh than dosh’ clothes rails at the weekend – shop open 11.0am to 4.0pm Saturday and Sunday) – but any condition is fine.    This week we have had  some super handbags brought in, just like new, so come along and grab a bargain.   We’ve had lots of pictures just brought in – modern art, traditional and prints (thanks folks).    There is a lot of lovely porcelain on display ‘In the Dog House’, also collectables and gifts so you’ll find plenty to browse plus our unusual greeting cards and books.    We think that buying second hand is not only a thrifty option it also saves the earth, no more using up precious resources.    We love books and are putting titles online shortly as well as having them available in the shop.   What’s a kindle?   When the latest plastic gadgets have disintegrated and the technology has fizzled out, books will still be around!   The dogs and cats get through a lot of bedding, especially the old stagers and those that come in poorly or injured.   We urgently need blankets, towels and bedding and they will be much appreciated if you have any to spare.   It’s easiest to drive up to the top yard and leave clothes etc. in Reception.   Many thanks for all your help.
