The new mum has taken it all in her stride and produced a little son without any trouble. The sheep were destined for slaughter if we hadn’t taken them in so it’s good to know they will now have a long and happy life. Sheep are such placid creatures, inoffensive and gentle. They recognise and have bonded with us. We love the parable of the Good Shepherd looking after them which we will always do.
This little chap has a devoted mommy who watches over him. We’ve called him Louie – don’t you love his little curly topknot!
