An update from the adopters of Cleo has made us very happy. Cleo is the little cat with only three legs who was rescued from abandonment in Spain along with five of her friends. Cleo was in poor health when she first came but when she had recovered we put her up for adoption. Would anyone want a 3-legged cat who didn’t speak English though?
Cleo is very affectionate and when she met her new family she won them over quickly. They already had a cat who they brought to meet her also. Cleo is a sociable girl but would their existing pet like her. He’s a massive Main Coon but although he’s a big lad he’s a real softie. All he wanted to do was kiss Cleo and fuss her.
These two cats love each other and it’s great to know that Cleo is so happy. She’s an indoor cat now which is what we wanted for her in view of her disability. Thank you so much for looking after her so well and getting in touch.
What about the rest of the Spanish cats? Francesca and Zelda have been adopted also, they have a home together and lounge under heat lamps when they’re not being fussed and roaming around the garden and fields. The remaining Spanish ladies are still here, they are not so sociable as the others and still a bit reserved. Perhaps our Spanish isn’t good enough!
